What if this is just another thing I start and don't follow through on?

Then you'll still have a beautiful book on your child's shelf with their name and face in it. And one random Tuesday night when you pick it up — even after weeks of not reading it — your child will snuggle in and you'll read it and it will matter. This isn't an all-or-nothing thing. There's no program to fail at. It's a book. You read it when you can. Grace, not guilt. Always.
