If you mean: will my child start to absorb the truth that they are loved, known, wanted, brave, and welcome? Yes — if you keep reading. Identity formation isn't instant. It's cumulative. It's bedtime after bedtime, page after page, night after night. You won't see the roots growing. But one day your child will say something — in a hard moment, in a brave moment — and you'll realize: the seeds took.
