What about older kids (age 6)? Will it feel babyish?

Nope. The illustrations grow with the child — the scenes reflect their world, their activities, their level of imagination. And the truths in the book aren't babyish at all. "You are who God says you are" is a truth that adults struggle with. A six-year-old who hears it nightly is getting a head start on something most of us didn't learn until our thirties.
